AtFAB coincides with where we believe Enzo Mari's polemical 1974 Autoprogettazione leaves off, using digitally networked intelligence to achieve outcomes that share Mari's aspirations for ubiquity, utility and delight. This line can be manufactured of, by and for anyone, anywhere, for any everyday use. Dimensions, material, and machine specs are "self-designed" online with an interactive Processing-based application that's been developed specifically for each piece. Once desired chair, table or storage unit proportions are found, download a unique DXF file, manufacture locally, and assemble simple interlocking parts.
